.r o m a n s 13 : 11.
“In America we have minimized God, put Him in a box and pushed Him out of our lives as either being ridiculous or nonexistent. As a result, our country is blindly wandering into a state of destruction as innocent lives are taken through abortion, teenagers take their own lives out of desperation, and millions have lost all hope that there is a Love that can conquer death.
His love is so much greater than any crisis this country may face, and so we cry out for God’s mercy, may He come and ignite America with His glory. The hour has come that we must unite as brothers and sisters in Christ and intercede for this nation, that our eyes may be opened and our hearts awakened to the true reality of who God is.“
I pray that this is not just an event, but that America would be shaken and never be the same again…
“The Lord is far from the wicked but hears the prayers of the righteous.” .Proverbs 15:29.
“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” .James 5:16.
“The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving towards all He has made.” .Psalm 145:13.
“God’s been gripping my heart, He’s been showing me if I really knew Him, I would then know my identity. He’s not worried about my external, but He cares so deeply about my internal. The knowledge and the fear of the Lord will be the stability of my life. There is a call to intercession; intimacy with Him is the foundation, but intercession is the the partnership.
I pray that He reveals His heart to me, and my nation.
We’ve fallen so far away, we’ve fixed our eyes on other things, yet all we need is Him. The same fire that makes Him a lover is the same fire that makes Him a jealous judge.“
I want His fire to fall on America!
We as a nation have become hopeless. As a people who say “In God we trust” there sure are a lot of people who are hopeless and searching. The rates of suicide, pornography, abortion rape, drugs and rebellion in youth are higher than they’ve ever been before. We, as a nation, have lost our hope, our trust, our faith, and our peace in God. And He is just the person that we need right now. He is everything that people do no want to believe. He is the creator of you and me. He created us to be in an intimate and deep relationship with Him, to live in His presence and to not be hopeless. But look how far we have fallen, that is why He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins so that we may have that relationship with Him again.
See, He does care about us! So stop thinking that He doesn’t because that is a lie. If you can just accept what His Son has done for you, how much He loves you; if everyone would just accept Him, then maybe things would go back to the way they were made to be. We need to repent as a nation. We are in a state of crisis. The world is in a state of crisis!
Jesus is coming back to those who believe, God’s people, back to Him
…the world is not ready.
“Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand- ‘Even now’, declares the Lord, ‘return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning’.”
.Joel 2:1&12.
My life, much like the world we live in, seems to be constantly changing. In these days the need to stay vigilant in prayer is more crucial than ever. As I become too distracted or too busy to keep my “spiritual health” up, I quickly feel the impact in my attitude and circumstances. As I reflect on the knowledge and authority God has blessed me with (as with all who believe in Him) I feel compelled not only by responsibility but also by love to stand together with brothers and sisters in Christ. Unified by love and compassion for all of God’s children, both those who know Him AND those that will. My King is still in the process of taking away years of pain caused by own choices as well as the choices of others.
It sometimes feels so hard to let down the walls and defenses I’ve built throughout my life. To stand with my heart in my open hands, giving it to Jesus. But He waits and He assures me and He comforts me as I do. You see, God has allowed me to feel the value He has placed on me. He has shown me love, mercy and grace. He asks me to wait on others as He has waited on me.
It is my privilege to come together with others, corporately blessing God and calling out for His will to be done.
