Can I get a witness?

“Yes, Lord, walking in the way of Your laws, we wait for You; Your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.  My soul yearns for You in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for You. When Your judgements come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.”       .isaiah 26:8,9.

Why have a week long 24/7 prayer, worship and teaching event?

• Because God is worth it. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.  During this event our desire and focus is wholly on God, to seek Him day and night.  We want our praise and prayers to blanket all of D.C., the nation and the world.  We want to make a joyful noise to the Lord, non-stop, for a whole week.  We want God’s glory to fall on our nation’s capital and impact everyone; wouldn’t it be incredible if God’s presence fell and He changed the hearts of our national leaders?
• Because America is in desperate need of real change. This election everyone is searching for “change”.  We as Christians have the opportunity to show people REAL change.  Our economy is in trouble, we’re involved in a war, our teens are giving in to peer pressure, and the killing of the most innocent people in our society is legal and acceptable.  We need a move of God!  Only Jesus can bring true change; He has the power to completely revolutionize our government, our society, our policies…our hearts.

On October 5-11, I am not interested in having “just another event”… I am interested in seeing God’s justice, mercy and life-changing love unleashed in the capital of our great nation.
